IWEA Offshore Wind Conference

12th September 2019

Ballsbridge Hotel, Pembroke Road, Dublin 4

There have been many exciting developments recently for offshore wind including the upcoming publication of the Marine Planning and Development Management Bill (MPDM) (previously referred to as 'MAFA'), encouraging signs for inclusion of offshore wind in upcoming RESS auctions as early as 2021, and signals from DCCAE on the treatment and development of offshore grid connections in future. All of these important topics will be covered at the conference, together with the outcomes and developments from IWEA’s Offshore Wind Supply Chain study which aims to ensure the supply chain for offshore wind in Ireland develops in time to capitalise on 2030 ambitions.
